Jason has specialised in technical challenges of packaging since he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Monash University.
After finishing his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Monash University, Jason joined the then Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Systems business as a Graduate Engineer. Working in the nuts and bolts design of carton packaging machines gave him an interest in the diverse industry of packaging and for the next 4 years he worked on many packaging line installations within a range of industries: large manufacturers of food products such as dairy, frozen food and confectionery in particular.
This led on to a technical sales role, based at CHH Smithfield carton plant. He moved on to become a Packaging Engineer, providing corrugated packaging solutions as diverse as the challenges of shelf ready packaging to advising on the design for the structural requirements of a corrugated shipper.
Jason completed a Masters in Engineering Management at UTS and returned to CHH to manage Packaging Systems. That became part of Colorpak in 2011 and Jason continues to work with customers providing solutions to the technical challenges of packaging, providing solutions for equipment and technical advice on packaging lines, carton design and construction.
Jason is a member of the Australian Institute of Packaging.
