David joined Colorpak in 2011 and brings 11 years manufacturing experience, predominantly in the food industry.

Irish born and bred, David joined Colorpak in March 2011 as part of its acquisition of Carter Holt Harvey. Previous to that David had 11 years in manufacturing, predominantly in the food industry. After finishing a BSc in Food Technology he started his career as an operator in a dairy processing plant in the UK and soon found a niche in process improvement though the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies. Putting this together with a good business acumen and ability to work with, influence and motivate people he soon progressed into manufacturing management.

David loves the thrill of a challenge and enjoys seeing every problem as an opportunity in disguise. He strives for excellence but understands that there are some limits. He has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business administration through Auckland University with an aim to further these studies to an MBA.
