Apprenticeship - Print Machinist

Braeside and Mt Waverley Locations

Colorpak Limited is a leading manufacturer of folded cartons. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, state of the art technology and the skills of our people. To this end we are committed to developing people for the future of our business.

We are currently recruiting for 2 apprentices, one at Braeside and one at Mt Waverley, for the Certificate III – Print and Graphic Arts in the area of Lithographic Print Machinist

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must possess the following criteria:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Outstanding colour comprehension
  • Methodical problem solving ability
  • An interest in the Print industry
  • Able to attend school and work
  • Minimum Year 11 pass (year 12 preferred VET, VCAL or VCE)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

The apprenticeship will run for 4 years and is a nationally recognised training program with external training provided by RMIT and on the job training as you work. This position will become a long term career opportunity for the right person.
